It is the motto of SDHS to provide support for medical needs of both local people and remote villagers. SDHS in coordination with SGSDhanvantariHospital in the Bhagyanagar branch of the ashrama regularly visits villages where no medical facility of any kind is available. Medical help includes: Ayurvedic treatments, Homeo treatments, Dentistry, ENT, Cardiology camps, Cataract operation programs, free dispensary, Diabetes detection programs and monthly health checkup camps.
Specialty Medical services are provided on all Thursdays, Sundays and on all important festivals and occasions in the ashrama.
Every year Mega Medical camps are conducted in multifold on various occasions.

At Baghyanagar
On 23rd Feb, 2013, a medical camp was organized by SDHS in coordination with Reserve Bank Of India (Women's Forum) at Sri SaraswathiSishumandir, Lalbahadurshastrinagar, Fathenagar. About 108 children of this Sishumandir availed these services.

At Srikakulam

On 29 April, 2012, as a prelude to the upcoming 70th birthday celebrations of PujyaGurudeva Sri GanapathySachchidanandaSwamiji, SDHS conducted a free dental camp at Dola village, Srikakulam District.  About 500 people were benefited from this camp. Along with free medicines, Tooth brushes and pastes were distributed to school children. Media covered the event.

On 27th Jan, 2013, a Blood donation camp and Dental Camp was conducted at Dola village by SDHS volunteers of Srikakulam. About 600 people from surrounding villages availed this facility.

At Chennai

During August 2012, SDHS volunteers of Chennai in co-ordination with Rotary Club, Madras conducted a Medical camp. Free medicines were distributed on this ocassion.

At Vizag

  • On 23rd September, 2012, in co-ordination with Lions Club, SGS Ashrama of Vizag conducted a Mega Medical Camp at ChintamaniGanapatiDattaKshetram - Visakhapatnam. About 1200 patients attended and availed the medical facilites. Later Annaprasadam was distributed. Sri GantaSrinivasa Rao, Minister for Infrastructure, Investments & Ports attended as Chief Guest. About 50 SDHS Volunteers serviced during the camp.


  • On Dec 16th, 2012, a medical camp was conducted at Mandal Parishat Primary school, Yadagirpalem, Vizag. About 10 SDHS volunteers of Vizag assisted the Doctors during this camp.

  • On 18th Nov, 2012, a medical camp was conducted for people of flood affected areas of Vizag. 

  • On 27th Jan, 2013, SDHS in co-ordination with ChintamaniGanapathiDattaKshetram, Visakhapatnam conducted blood donation camp and Medical Camp. About 450 patients were benefited through this camp. 75 volunteers donated blood on this occasion. Later, Annadaanam was performed for all present there.

During the 67th Birthday celebrations of Pujya Sri Swamiji, a mega medical camp was conducted during 31st May to 4th June in co-ordination with SGS VydyaSeva team. Dental, orthopedic, Gynec, cancer screening, dermatology, ophthalmology, Diabetics, Neurology, general physician, Ayurvedic and Homeo services were provided for about 2000 needy patients during this period.

As the Swine flu panic has gripped the world, SDHS extended its support to protect the society from the highly contagious virus that is spreading like wild fire all over the world. As a part of this, free distribution of Swine Flu preventive medicines were done in various educational institutions of Guntur &Krishna districts through the respective SDHS centers. This preventive medicine was distributed for more than one lakh people in the state. Also, this medicine was sent to Mysore ashrama to be distributed for another one lakh people during Navarathri celebrations.
On the occasion of DattaJayanthi, ahomeo camp was conducted in Dindigulashrama in coordination with Drug Standardization unitof Central Council for Research in Homeopathy, Department of Ayush. About 1000 people were benefitted out of this camp.
On 10th January, SDHS in co-ordination with SGS Dhanvantari Hospital, Hyderabad, a mega medical camp consisting of Diabetic Camp, Skin Camp, Cancer Screening, Eye Checkup, Cardiac tests, ENT, Dental, Homeo and Ayurveda Camps were conducted.
During January 2010, a dental chair worth Rs. 1, 30,000/- is also donated by SDHS to the ashram hospital to be used during the dental camps at DhanvanthariChikitsalaya, Dundigal.  This has been inaugurated by Pujya Sri Swamiji during Ugadi celebrations.
